Ha Ling Peak, Alberta

Just outside of Banff National Park sits the small town of Canmore. With the tourism toned down, Canmore feels almost sleepy, under the radar. A short drive out of town is a trail leading up the East End of Rundle, affectionally known as EEOR. Summiting EEOR requires an exposed and technical scramble, but one only needs to hike a relatively short way up to catch this dramatic view of Ha Ling Peak, which I think is the best view for the least effort I've ever found in the mountains.
